When evolution even has a sniff of 'controversial' about it, there's a deep society-level problem.

The decline of the US has been fast, but it feels as if it's only going to accelerate, and as it becomes more obvious there's going to be more anger and flailing of limbs that will impact others in the vicinity.

    I know what you mean, and I'd consider evolution to be settled science beyond the reach of anyone but willfully ignorant religious zealots.

    But there's a lot that's been 'put back on the table' recently that's been off most of the developed world's tables for a long time.

    Ie. Theirs is not an irrational fear.
